DCS Internship Program: Introducing Michelle Jones

Please join us in welcoming our new Spring ’18 Public Policy Intern! Michelle Jones is a junior at Chatham University majoring in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. She is pursuing minors in Marketing and Social Service Administration and a Women’s Leadership certificate. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Michelle focuses her studies on the relationship between media and marketing and is interested in the power of media to impact social activism and social issues.

As an Office Assistant for the Pennsylvania Center for Women and Politics, Michelle has gained an interest in American political system, and a passion for getting more women involved in politics. On campus, Michelle is a member of the NCAA women’s ice hockey and women’s lacrosse teams, and serves on the Student Athlete Advocacy Committee and the Scholars Advisory Board.
