Snow Much Knowledge, Snow Little Time!

Earlier this month, the Denny Civic Solutions team sported our best winter gear and traversed up to the Seven Springs Mountain Resort to join our friends, the Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners (PCNP), at their annual conference! The air was crisp, but we were crisper––embracing fresh ideas during “office hours,” where we connected with coalition members and listened to their feedback. 

From deeply informative sessions to browsing exhibitor tables to entering raffles for prize baskets, this conference was a true flurry of activity for PA’s nurse practitioners! PCNP members networked, rekindled connections, and exchanged best practices and new ideas each day. Some NPs even snapped a few photos with PCNP’s custom social media frame.

The retreat ended up being particularly special for our DCS team for one very good reason: our own John Denny was honored with PCNP’s inaugural Exceptional Advocate and Partner Award! Of course, his infamous holiday pants made an appearance (and nearly stole the show), but the recognition from our friends at PCNP left us with the biggest impression of all — our thanks to them!

As we reflect on this year’s conference, it is clear just how dedicated and passionate Pennsylvania nurse practitioners are about the role they serve in their communities. We are so grateful to have the privilege of working with so many diligent, compassionate, and brilliant individuals that constitute the Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.
