Denny Civic Solutions Proud to Partner with Former PA Senate Counsel Donna Malpezzi as Strategic Advisor

Denny Civic Solutions is pleased to announce that former Pennsylvania Senate Majority General Counsel Donna M. Malpezzi has chosen to partner with the firm as strategic counsel.

Malpezzi retired as theGeneral Counsel for the Senate Majority Caucus in Dec. 2014 after more than 35 years of service in state government. She served in that role from 2010 until her retirement. She previously served as Chief Counsel for three Senate majority leaders.

Malpezzi was a key advisor and negotiator for the Senate Majority Caucus during the annual budget deliberations between the Senate, the state House of Representatives, and the governor’s office. She oversaw the Senate’s legislative calendar and the implementation of its legislative agenda. She also specialized in issues and budgetary matters related to the state Department of Human Services.

A graduate of Millersville University of Pennsylvania and the Penn State Dickinson School of Law, Malpezzi is a native of Hershey, where she grew up working in Memmi’s Bakery, owned and operated by her family. She has two daughters, one who works as an associate for a government relations firm in Harrisburg, and the other an elementary school teacher in Lancaster County. She lives with her husband in Hershey, Dauphin County.
