For this episode of Budget on the Run, John and Donna hit the road to visit the PA Association of Area Agencies on Aging (P4A) in Harrisburg to learn more about the issues facing older adults in PA.  John and Donna were honored to meet with P4A’s Executive Director Rebecca May-Cole, along with special guests Mark Shea, Director of the York County Area Agency on Aging (AAA), and Jennifer Weitkamp, York County AAA’s Protective Services Supervisor.

During an important discussion on protective services and preventative care for seniors in Pennsylvania, John and Donna discover a way the state budget can lower the increasing reports of elder abuse – by properly funding the services that are cut to cover these emergency costs.
