DCS Partners with DMMConsulting to Offer Customized Advocacy Boot Camp

For those of you waiting with bated breath since we first hinted back in July that we would begin offering a brand new service – the wait is over. We’re proud to officially announce that Denny Civic Solutions is teaming up with our longtime friend and collaborator Donna Malpezzi of DMMConsulting to offer our brand new Advocacy Boot Camp.

Our Boot Camps are self-contained, day or half-day sessions designed to turn you, your organization, or your board into effective players in the world of public policy. Drawing from our decades of combined experience, DCS and DMMConsulting craft each boot camp to fit your exact needs – no two organizations are the same, and no two sessions should be, either. Whether your group is completely new to advocacy, or an old hand simply in need of a boost, we’ll meet you where you are to get you where you need to go.

Our goal is to lay out – in the clearest possible terms – strategies that work, common tactics that don’t, and how to tell the difference. We teach you how to select the right legislative champion for your cause, how build an effective coalition of supportive groups, and how to turn your issue into a top priority in Harrisburg, city hall, or beyond.

So with that in mind, we’re proud to announce our very first Advocacy Boot Camp with our friends at Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Greater Philadelphia this fall. We’ll be working with their phenomenal board to identify current policy opportunities and develop a workable advocacy strategy to turn those opportunities into reality. JFCS is a remarkable organization already doing great work, and we’re thrilled to have the opportunity.
