If you’re a regular reader of the blog, you’ve probably heard me mention Andy Goodman of the Goodman Center before. Andy’s a fantastic teacher who recognizes the power that storytelling holds for those in the human services, civic improvement, and social advocacy sectors.
Recently, Denny Civic Solutions participated in Andy’s “Webinar on Webinars,” a compelling presentation on the power web conferencing has for getting your message across to the people who need it. At Denny Civic Solutions we organize civic campaigns, develop strategy for civic campaigns, manage civic campaigns, and write about civic campaigns. But when it comes to bringing the message to you, a group of people admittedly short on time and scattered across the country, we’d like to offer an even easier, concentrated resource on how to get your civic campaign off the ground.
That’s why, early next year, Denny Civic Solutions is planning to launch our first in a series of webinars on the nuts and bolts of running a successful civic campaign – let’s call it Civic Campaigns 101.
We know that to be successful, our webinars need to be interesting, interactive, and engaging for our audience – a lot like a good civic campaign, actually. And with that in mind, we’re asking you – our friends, clients, and supporters – to help us select our first couple of topics.
What we need from you:
Below are five ideas we’re kicking around. Please click here to rank these topics from most to least interesting at our survey page on SurveyMonkey.com.
Civic Campaigns 101: An Overview of Civic Campaigns
Civic Campaigns 101: Building and Activating Coalitions
Civic Campaigns 101: Developing and Delivering the Message
Civic Campaigns 101: Research, Research, Research
Civic Campaigns 101: Identifying Key Champions, Decision Makers, and Influencers
It takes 30 seconds and lets us know what would be the most valuable use of your – and our – time. Your participation is very much appreciated.
